Who is Joshua Romano
Josh is a lifelong Oklahoman. He was born and raised in Lawton, OK where he enjoyed a stellar athletic career on the gridiron for the Lawton MacArthur Highlanders and as a coach for the Lawton High Wolverines. During his tenure at Lawton High, he helped lead the Wolverines to five district championships and a State Semi-finalist appearance in 2011.
Josh earned a BA in Organizational Communications from Cameron University in 2003 and immediately began work running local political campaigns. Following a brief stint in politics, Josh began his teaching and coaching career which afforded him the opportunity to enrich the lives of young-student athletes in Lawton, many with whom he remains in contact today.
Like the gridiron, Josh enjoys the competitive nature of litigation and got his start defending insurance companies as an intern in law school. After graduating from the Oklahoma City University School of Law in 2015, Josh continued defending hospitals, jail and prison healthcare providers, and insurance carriers in complex medical malpractice cases. Since 2018, Josh has continued his devotion of supporting Oklahoma employers before the Oklahoma Worker’s Compensation Commission.
Josh lives in Moore with his wife and two sons. In his spare time, he enjoys coaching youth sports teams in Oklahoma City, Edmond, and Moore as well as rooting for the Oklahoma City Thunder and OU Sooners.
