Who is Jay Jones
Jay Jones focuses his practice on workers’ compensation and insurance defense before the Workers’ Compensation Commission, Court of Existing Claims, and multiple tribal courts. He represents multiple Native American Tribes as well as insured and self insured employers and counsels clients in all aspects of on the job injury issues and related employment matters. Jay is lead counsel at trial and appellate levels defending the sovereign immunity of Native American Tribes. He has written articles and spoken at multiple seminars regarding sovereign immunity issues, including seminars sponsored by the Oklahoma Bar Association and at Oklahoma’s Sovereignty Symposium.
